Parramatta Light Rail website celebrates 100,000 hits

More than 100,000 people have visited the Parramatta Light Rail website to tap into the latest project news, community information, frequently asked questions, maps and videos.

Launched in August 2016, the Parramatta Light Rail website recently surpassed 100,000 visitors. The website continues to attract visitors while the project is in its early stages.

In recent months, we have shared the latest news about the preferred route for Stage 2 of the Parramatta Light Rail, upcoming road and traffic changes ahead of Parramatta Light Rail construction as well as providing construction certainty for businesses along Parramatta’s dining strip ‘Eat Street’.

Parramatta Light Rail is set to transform the way people move around Western Sydney, connecting new and emerging communities and connecting to landmark cultural, entertainment and sporting destinations.

Stage 1 of the Parramatta Light Rail will connect Westmead to Carlingford via the Parramatta CBD and Camellia. The preferred route for Stage 2 of the Parramatta Light Rail will connect to Stage 1 via Parramatta CBD to Ermington, Melrose Park, Wentworth Point and Sydney Olympic Park.
